My wife and I just purchased a home in our town of Bedford, NH that needs work and updating over the next 5 years. We are 50+ years old and work full time, many days from home, and looking for a handy man that can complete targeted projects/jobs, (big or small). Labor only or we will purchase all project/job material required per your spec. list. Looking for a handy man that will charge a reasonable rate per hour or a reasonable rate per job/project which can be discussed and negotiated. We are not looking for a multi person company that must charge high labor rates to cover a company overhead. Typical example of the projects/jobs we are looking to complete over the next 5 years: 1. Frame-in a new raised wrap-around deck on a raised sun room attached to the back of a split level home/top level. 2. Frame-in a second bathroom on the lower level with a small stand-up shower stall, toilet & sink. 3. Plumbing work in the main bathroom/bath tub & shower to install new main water hot/cold valve and tub spout & drain close. 4. Patch hole (sheet & tape) in sun room ceiling where we took out a gas stove chimney pipe. Most wood working jobs will just be the framing part and we will complete the finish work or board placements. Trade skill such as Framing/Sheetrock & Taping/Plumbing we do not tackle which is the reason for our search for a handy man. Our 20 and 12 year old son's would act as your helper on applicable jobs/projects to cut down on time and cost. We are also on a flexible schedule and in no rush for any particular project/job...
