Meet Zeuz! He is a 5 year old German sheperd who is looking for his furever home. He spent 45 days in PACC before coming to us as a foster to decompress from the kennel. He is a super sweet, curious, and energetic boy who takes a couple minutes to warm up to you and then wants lots of love and pets! Zeuz is a dog who will need someone familiar with the breed. He needs someone who will be firm with him and put the time and effort into working with him frequently (daily would be best). He is a very quick learner and has picked up quickly on corrections. Within a day, he knows how to sit, and wait before being let out the door. Unfortunately, he spent all of his life outside so he is not accustomed to being inside (but he is loving it!). He is respectful of our furniture and does not climb on the bed or couch. From the information we were provided from PACC, he was jumping over the chain link fence of his yard. Whoever adopts him will need a secure yard enclosed by something other than chain link. We have closely supervised him outside off leash and have not had any incidents. We have not witnessed any signs of aggression towards our dogs, whether it’s food, toys, or attention. He reportedly was aggressive to smaller dogs. We have not seen this as we do not have smaller dogs. It is advised he does not go to a home with small dogs or cats. We do not have children, so we do not know how he will react towards them.
