Building Porter-Custodian Landmark Holiday Beach Resort (850) 233-1500 A full-time position available who can handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, while also delivering a high level of customer service. The Building Porter-Custodian is a multi-task position. The Porter will be responsible for greeting guests as they check in/out at the front desk, responding guests needs loading and unloading of vehicles, assist with guests’ questions, provide directions for parking and traffic control to maintain an efficient check in/out process. The ideal candidate for this position has a positive attitude and is dedicated to making each guest’s stay as pleasant as possible. The Custodian you are responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitized building, and cared for building our customers will enjoy. The ideal candidate is capable of completing a daily routine list of responsibilities, has ability to see issues and respond as necessary. Responsibilities • Maintain a clean environment through regular and consistent care and sanitization of the common areas, walkways, entrance area, stairwells, and windows, • Maintain and clean grill area, tennis courts, pool area, organize deck/pool furniture, patios, and clubhouse. • Empty trash cans, maintain clean grounds, common area. • Maintain plant beds in coordination with landscaping service for consistent beauty. • Work with the customer service team to help set up special events, signage, and other materials throughout the facility • Ensure that all bags and other guest effects are properly handled • Assist in answering front desk calls for assistance and delivery of items within the facility • Respond immediately to assigned guest calls that concern minor room maintenance and other guest needs • Act as part of the housekeeping service team during the busier times of the day as necessary.
