Full-time Maintenance Technician, Mobile Home Parks in the Stanton/Westminster/Huntington Beach Areas Star Management is an established leader in the Manufactured Housing Industry. We are seeking a seasoned, full-time maintenance technician with experience in common area and residential maintenance in a residential community. You will report directly to the Community Managers who will assign your duties at communities in Huntington Beach, Stanton and Westminster. Regular duties include, but are not limited to: Common area maintenance Minor electrical repairs on items such as appliances, fixtures, switches and outlets, etc. Minor painting Minor plumbing repairs such as replacing fittings and faucets, clearing drain stoppages, etc. General maintenance such as replacing screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, appliances, blinds and locks, as well as maintaining and cleaning of the properties. Troubleshooting of utility system outages and problems Working with water and gas meter shut-offs Replacing utility meters, per mandated schedule Maintaining accurate records of work performed Qualifications: Ideal candidates must: Be customer-service oriented; Possess a good work ethic and uphold the company values; Be able to work with minimal supervision; Have 2+ years of recent experience in apartment/residential maintenance; Mobile Home Park experience is a plus; Be able to resolve challenges logically and know when to refer more complex issues to a higher level manager since duties and tasks are frequently non-routine; Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, integrity, and exercise confidentiality in all areas of performance; Be punctual, neat and efficient; Read, write and speak English fluently Own basic tools to use at work Additional Requirements: Possess a valid California Driver's License with reliable transportation and proof of current automobile insurance Education minimum high school or GED equivalent Must pass background and DMV investigation Job Particulars: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Job requires traveling and performing job duties at separate properties located in the Stanton, Westminster and Huntington Beach areas, on a daily basis.
