Presentation Description: "Building a Culture of Excellence and Ownership" More Details to Follow Presenter: Matt Wille, President and CEO - Munson Medical Center Matt Wille joined Munson Medical Center as President and CEO in September, 2019. Munson Medical Center is a 442-bed regional referral hospital and Level II Trauma Center in Traverse City, Mich., and part of the Munson Healthcare system. Prior to joining the hospital, Mr. Wille served as Vice President of Operations at Allina United Hospital in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region. He also served as interim President of the hospital for a time. Other leadership roles in health care have included time as CEO of Dallas County Hospital in Perry, Iowa, and Vice President of MercyOne in Des Moines, Iowa, as well as leadership roles at Advocate Aurora Health, Downers Grove, Ill. Mr. Wille holds master’s degrees in public policy and administration from Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill., and health care administration from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn. He received his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. As a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Mr. Wille is board certified in Healthcare Management.
