Description
My husband and I adopted a standard Aussie puppy and unfortunately she has bitten our kids multiple times and now we need to re-home her. Our vet did say she isn’t aggressive at all, the biting and nipping is typical of herding breeds, she really is a lover, but she gets overexcited sometimes and that turns into nipping and biting. She’s a sweetheart and wants to be able to play with everyone but she isn’t a good fit for our home for our kids safety. She would be a great working girl or with an active family with older aged kids who has the time to give her more in depth training. She does know a lot of basic commands as I’ve been working on training her constantly. So far she has mastered crate training, Sit, Lay Down, Off and Come. She is completely house trained and hasn’t had an accident in a month or so. She just had all of her vaccinations completed today and is good for a year. Due to her young age, she hasn’t been spayed yet. There is a re-homing fee. You can contact me through email, phone calls or text. I do have pictures upon request.
* For anyone who may feel inclined to respond to tell us how we are horrible people for needing to re-home her, you will be blocked. This is a decision we talk over with the input of our vet and have made the best choice for our children and for her. This is not a something we take lightly. *
