The Dane County Fair is a family-friendly event filled with animals, entertainment, activities, carnival rides, and fair food for all ages. The Dane County Fair (July 15-18) is a family-friendly event filled with excitement for all ages. This year's Fair features a world class carnival, free nightly concerts, animals, Lady Houdini, KidBuck$ Game Show, youth projects, commercial vendors, and more daily. Live music from Chicken Wire Empire (Thursday), Madison County (Friday), and on Saturday, there will be performances by Cochren & Company, Cade Thompson, and Lydia Laird presented by Life 102.5. It is free daily admission for youth 5 years old and under, $3 daily youth admission for 6-11 years old, and $8 daily general admission for 12 years old and up. We also offer season passes for $6 - youth (6-11 years old) and $20 - general (12 years old and up). Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? You must be at least 21 years old with a valid ID to purchase alcoholic beverages, but the beer garden and all other evens are open to all ages. How much is parking?
