Meet at the Riverview Shelter at 9am at Sidecut Metropark and spend a few hours helping to clean up the river. Tim Buchanan always loved the river and hosted regular seasonal events to inspire people to get out and help clean up the waters, banks and surrounding areas. In honor of Tim, everyone is welcome to join and celebrate his life with this important task. Event starts at 9am with a briefing about Tim, followed by an introduction to the tasks at hand provided by a Metroparks staff member. Please bring sunscreen, bug repellant, and be dressed to to get wet and/or dirty ! We will be hosting a "Trash Raffle" as well. All participants of the clean up will be entered to win door prizes!
