Please read through as she is not for inexperienced owners!!** 2 months ago we were looking for a pup on Craigslist when we came across Sasha. She’s a beautiful 4yo husky female. Briefly after speaking to her previous owners we lost contact. She seemed like a good fit so we were bummed out. 1-2 weeks later we get another email saying she’s still available and if we can take her ASAP as they were moving and could not take her. They said we needed to take her ASAP, or they would be forced to put her in a shelter. We were told she was calm, great with kids and other dogs. At drop off, we found out she had previously bitten someone but had gone through training since. This was 2 years ago and no incidents since. Shortly after Sasha arrived the aggression started, resource guarding, and aggression towards my other animal. She has nipped the neighbor, my daughter, and has actually bitten me and my older son. For this, we are unfortunately needing to rehome her. It has come down to the fact that my children’s safety is more important than any animal, and I just simply cannot trust her. She has started training, but it has made her aggression slightly worse. We are not equipped to handle an aggressive dog. She will go best in a younger couples home, with no children, and no other dogs. PLEASE, I know she’s a good pup in there, but she needs someone to put in a lot of time with her. After reporting to her previous owners of the aggression, they have blocked us/changed their phone number. She is not fixed. Any other questions, please reach out.
