Join World Relief Seattle in our Summer Garden celebration! Join us on August 18th in the community gardens for a celebration of 2021's accomplishments, whether that be making it through a pandemic, the Refugee Youth Summer Academy, or simply welcoming newcomers! There will be tons of fun activities such as yard games, henna paintings, and a scavenger hunt for the kids! Come on down and celebrate with your community! We seek to see refugees and immigrants welcomed by community, rooted in community, & empowered for community. World Relief Seattle has worked since 1979 to empower local churches and community members to serve refugees and immigrants in the Greater Seattle Area. Originally founded to care for those fleeing war in Southeast Asia, we have since grown to resettle refugees from almost 50 countries. We are encouraged by the many churches, businesses, and individuals who use their resources and ingenuity to enhance the lives of refugees and immigrants throughout Western Washington.
