Come restore lives and rebuild community with us at the Transformation Center! Do you want to be a catalyst of transformation? Do you want to be a resource of hope? Now you can! On July 24th, Cityfam is volunteering at the Transformation Center in Brooklyn, MD. Volunteers can help load, stock and distribute groceries to this community in need. Saturday morning guests are welcomed in and treated with dignity as they pick up items of their liking. When guests leave, they walk out with a 3-4 day supply of fresh produce, meats, bread, dairy, canned goods, desserts, clothing. Volunteers are also encouraged to greet and assist guests. Due to COVID, event will take place outside and facemasks are required. Dress appropriately. Minimum age: 12. If under 16, must be accompanied by an adult.
