NICA New York Advance Camp Is Back! 2021 Augest 1st - Augest 6th In Huntington Vermont NICA New York Advanced Camp Is Back for its 4th year! Join the best coaches and enjoy some of the best single track on the East coast! Camp Dates: Augest 1st - Augest 6th 2021 Who Coming? If You are a NICA NY registered student athlete looking to improve your riding skills and challenge yourself on more difficult trails than what is available at Kingdom Trails You are adventurous and have a positive attitude. Objective: Make new friends! Have Fun!! Increase each rider's endurance, technical skills, confidence & strength, in an encouraging environment with like minded athletes. Increase the riders knowledge of trail networks outside of their home state.Better understand, Map reading and trail selection. Rider Preparation & Registration: Advanced Camp is open to 20 NICA NY riders. Each student should have 2 years of NICA experience and have finished in the top 15 of their respective racing category. Riders should be comfortable with climbing 1200 vertical feet per day over 15 miles of technical singletrack. Riding Each Day: We will ride a new trail system each day, sessioning features and building strength, guided by passionate, trained NICA NY Coaches. Riders will return from this trip with improved bike handling skills, confidence, fitness and love for a lifelong sport. Advanced Camp Accommodations: Sleepy Hollow Ski & Bike Center 427 Ski Lodge Drive, Huntington, VT 05462 Pretty Rad Spot To Call Home For The Week! Trail Map Trail Systems - In and around the spectacular Mad River Valley, VT. May include Perry Hill, Cochrans, Carse Hill, Hinesburg Town Forest, Sleepy Hollow, Blueberry Lake and the entire MRV network. We will ride high quality technical singletrack as well as machine built modern IMBA style flow trails and everything in between. 5 Night 6 Days- Room & Board 3 meals a day & snacks 24 hour coach attendance. Day In The Life At NICA Advanced Camp:Breakfast 8:00am On The Trail Bike Maintenance Clinic-9:00-9:30 Technical Climbing Clinic (on trail) 10:00 -12:00 Lunch (Picnic Style) 12:00-1:00 Group Ride 1:00-3:30 Cool Down (In Once Of The Many Rivers VT Has To offer) 4:00-4:30 Chill Out/Snack Time 5:00-6:00 Dinner 6:00-7:00 On The Bike Games 7:00-8:00 Lights Out 9:30 Daily schedule changes each day, due to driving times between trail networks. We will be riding two different networks each day. Recommended Bike For This Camp - full suspension trail/all mtn bike (120mm-160mm). NO DH BIKES
