Description
Two bonded female guinea pigs in need of a new permanent home!
I rescued these two a few months ago when they were skin and bones. I’ve fostered back to perfect healthy, chubby piggies! My plan was to acclimate them to my existing herd of three, but they prefer to remain a pair.
They come with a perfectly sized caged (will be thoroughly cleaned), bedding, litter box, a few days’ supply of hay and pellets, a large water bottle, two piggie hammocks, salt lick, and chew toys. (Easily a couple hundred dollars worth of piggie stuff) I will also provide extensive care instructions and a contract to ensure pets’ health and happiness.
Their rehoming fee is $70 to make sure I have serious inquiries only. This isn’t about the money, it’s about finding their fur-ever home!
I will ask some basic questions about your knowledge of guinea pigs, and how you plan to take care of them. They are not hamsters that can be left alone happily for days. They’re small animals that do require attention, daily feeding, grooming (nail cutting) and weekly cleaning to stay healthy.
One piggie, the crested one, is about two years old and the other, smooth hair, is about one. They’re both in excellent health. They’re very sweet. A bit skittish when you’re trying to pick them up but they have never bitten or showed aggression. They’d make wonderful pets for older kids!
Part of the contract I mentioned includes continued support from myself. I have about a decade of experience with guinea pigs. If any health problems come up, I can recommend a local vet or let you know how to take care of them. If there are any problems or questions, I’ll always be able and willing to help.
