Wichita HOT is an annual firefighter training event located in Wichita, Kansas.
The Wichita HOT Regional Fire School is an annual firefighter training event located in Wichita, Kansas. Every year we bring in some of the top instructors in the fire service to provide high quality, low cost training to firefighters throughout the midwest. The event opens with a commencement speech by a featured keynote speaker, followed by a day of open breakout lectures where students can freely jump from one class to another and then a day of hands-on-training. Every year we also feature a number of sponsors and vendors for students to check out. All lectures take place at the Wichita Fire Regional Training Center. The hands-on portion takes place both on-site at the Regional Training Center and off-site at acquired structures depending on the class. Hands-on classes require appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) which must be provided by the student. Please check each class for its individual requirements prior to signing up. ALL Hands-On-Training requires that the student provide a completed and signed Live Release Form prior to the start of the class. Wichita HOT is open to any active firefighter or student wishing to further their knowledge within the fire service.
