Beat the Heat with the Right Veggies and Care Join us and learn how to keep your present veggies alive through the heat of summer. The session taught by Merrie Decker, Montgomery County Master Gardener, will include: what you can plant right now; how to prepare your beds for fall; what you can plant in August for fall veggies. Then there will be a brief discussion on irrigation practices and mulching to help your plants get through the heat of the summer.
