Looking for Recording Engineer/Producer and writer/musician to help me finish and record a short LP. I am a musician, vocalist and songwriter. My style, if I had to label it, would be close to Indie Rock. I was working with a producer in Phoenix, AZ, to record and market a 3 track LP, but am now moving to Bellingham for good and wish to begin the recording process anew. I have a large number of songs written to choose from. My goal is to find a producer to help pick the best few, add instrumentals to my work and record a short LP, begin playing live, eventually doing short local tours, and market the work simultaneously. I have had no end of enthusiastic feedback from my work. I am very confident in my writing abilities, and that if I have the right folks to work with, we can surely achieve some modicum of success. In addition to the performing side, eventually I plan to publish and sell much of my work as rough demos, for other artists to use, maintaining writer rights. I have the ability to pump out catchy and marketable songs, and believe with the right producer, I can at least make a decent living off of my work. I could simply record what I have as a singer/songwriter, maybe add some bass and drums, but my real desire is to work with someone creative that can bring the basic structure of my songs to a new level.
