Travel with us to Rockford, where former MAMGA presenter, Carole Hunter, will walk us thru her daylilies...which number in the thousands! This event is only for MAMGA members and their guests. Carole’s first career was in education, but in her late 40’s she returned to school to study Ornamental Horticulture. Upon receiving a degree in Landscape Design, she began her own landscape business with a focus on creating individualized gardens for her clients. In 2010, Carole’s interest in art and science led her to begin hybridizing daylilies. She plants 1000-2000 seedlings a year, only a very few of which meet her criteria for being introduced to the general public. In 2019, Carole registered her first 5 daylily cultivars, followed in 2020 by 5 more. Please bring your own beverage to drink during the tour.
