Circumstantial Pleasures (2019, 22 mins.); music: Scott Walker ROOFTOP CINEMA 2021 Rooftop Cinema returns to the Museum’s rooftop sculpture garden select Fridays in late summer for its sixteenth season. Rooftop Cinema is $5 per screening, or free for MMoCA members and anyone age 21 and younger; free tickets must still be reserved through Eventbrite.In addition to advance tickets sold through Eventbrite, a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the screening on a first-come, first-served basis.Ticketholders must arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to showtime in order to claim seats. Reservations are paperless. Admission begins in the Rooftop Sculpture Garden 60 minutes before screen time; please check in with MMoCA staff on the roof when you arrive.Screenings will relocate to the lecture hall (masks required) if rain is predicted. Ticketholders will be notified via email if the screening has been moved indoors. Rooftop Cinema is a program of MMoCA’s Education Department and is curated by James Kreul, with technical support provided by Tanner Engbretsen. MMoCA’s film programming is generously funded by an anonymous donor, maiahaus, and Venture Investors, LLC. COVID POLICY FOR ATTENDEES Attendees must wear masks when inside MMoCA and when interacting with museum or restaurant staff (e.g. ordering a drink at Fresco), including outdoors.Masks are encouraged outdoors when social distancing cannot be easily maintained.Event capacities at MMoCA have been limited to allow ample room for social distancing between guests.As a protective measure, seating will be in designated areas and chairs will not be provided.
