Community LINC Changemakers Inaugural Event Sip some beer, connect with other emerging leaders and learn more about our newest group, Changemakers. The event takes place on July 22 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Kansas City’s newest hangout with history, 9th & State. Grab a partner and enter the Beer Pong Tournament for $30, which includes two drinks. Winner receives coveted tickets to the annual Rent Party. If you have a partner for the tournament, email [email protected] with the members of your team. Otherwise, you will be randomly paired and placed in the bracket. Tournament will be double elimination. The opening round will be played with 6 cups , semifinals and finals will be played with 10. About Community LINC Who We Are: For over 35 years, Community LINC has been an innovative leader in serving the most vulnerable families in our community. We have spent years creating new housing programs that increase our capacity to serve more families and strengthen our programming. With proven success, program recipients receive housing location services, intensive trauma-informed case management, employment services, financial coaching, and children's programming, allowing them to regain stability and remain permanently housed.  In fact, our last retention study showed 85% remain housed based on a 5-year data from Kansas City’s Homeless Information System tracking shelter relapse, and access of services. Our Culture: Community LINC staff have a shared drive to help our families transition from homelessness to homefullness.  Through innovation, creativity, and flexibility, our strategically crafted programs actively create a difference in our community.
