The band features Avi Salloway (Bombino/Hey Mama/Avi & Celia) who has performed across five continents including concerts at the Coachella, Newport Folk Festival, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Montreal Jazz Fest, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center. Rising from the ashes of 2020, Billy Wylder forge ahead with their new EP, Whatcha Looking For (out April 9 on Sand & Gold Records). The music weaves together American folk and rock with sensibilities from the Sahara Desert, exploring new musical space akin to Devendra Banhart, Beck, and Tinariwen. The tracks evoke musical evolutions built on grooves informed by ancient African rhythms, art-rock textures, expansive guitars, violins, synths, and drum machines. Salloway’s lyrics flow with inspiration from mythical songwriting hero Leonard Cohen, while threading together more abstract imagery reminiscent of Thom Yorke. Malyssa Bellarosa ~ Singer/Guitarist Jeff Sullivan ~ Bassist / Vocalist Alyson Hammond ~ Drums Chadley Kolb CHADLEY KOLB is an American songwriter, guitarist, composer, singer, producer, lifelong musician. He lives in New Hampshire with his wife and 1 year old son. He is known for a wide range of styles from rock, blues, folk, psychedelic, country, to ambient instrumental, even metal back in the day.. Raised in southern Maine, Chadley first began playing guitar at age 11, and has been writing, recording and performing original music for over 25 years, both solo and with various bands. He has a degree in Audio Production from the Art Institute of New England, and has had several songs featured in TV and Film. His newest release TRANSMISSIONS: Soundscapes & Instrumentals- hits May 1st 2020. This follows up last years neo-folk album 'Within Without' released in July of 2019. Previously, Chadley founded and fronted the Boston based rock band Coyote Kolb. They released 3 albums: 2014's Let It Show EP —- 2012's United State - and 2010's Massachusett ). The band was nominated for several Boston Music Awards and New England music awards during that span, and were known for their gritty live show and outlaw style. See you at the show!!
