A unique running event in Fitzgerald, Georgia where you pick the distance, but you have to beat the clock! Join us in Fitzgerald, Georgia on August 14, 2021 for a truly unique running & racing event. There'll be very little of what you're used to at any other racing event. At Beat the Clock, you can choose to run/race a 5k, 10k, 12k, 15k, 10 Miler, Half Marathon, and even a Full Marathon, but there's one big catch to each distance. You start when you want, BUT you have to finish by midnight. We'll be giving away a tiara for those who beat the clock, but once the clock strikes midnight finishers will receive a pumpkin! The course will be very simple loop and runners will follow a straightforward course around our historic downtown and will make one loop and some to a multitude of loops depending on their distance selection. We'll be posting the course as the race date draws closer! Start your training today. Your race fee includes: a shirt, some glow items, water and sport's drink, snacks, timing, and a finishers medal. We'll have a single aid station set up and you'll pass this aid station once each loop. However, you are also welcome to set up your own aid station at the start/finish area.
