Reading and Wakefield co-host hazardous waste days for residents of these two communities. The spring event will take place in Reading on June 26, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents can bring their materials to the Reading DPW Garage at 75 New Crossing Road in Reading. Visitors should be prepared to show a driver's license for residency purposes.
If you need to dispose of hazardous waste in between these local collections, check out the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection site for collection sites.
The following items can be collected:
