SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — A stolen SUV was recovered during a traffic stop on southbound I-75 in Sarasota County Friday, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release. Troopers pulled Timothy Michael Barbeau, 27, over at mile marker 192, between Jacaranda Boulevard and River Road, along I-75. After a roadside investigation, Barbeau faces multiple charges, including grand theft auto, driving with a suspended license with knowledge and dealing in stolen property, FHP said.
