Listening Sessions for Peers & Queer/Trans People on Berkeley Policing

We are holding 2 listening sessions as part of the Reimagining Public Safety Initiative for policing reforms in the City of Berkeley. On Tuesday, June 29 from 6 pm - 8 pm on Zoom, we will have a listening session for Peers in the mental health community. On Thursday, July 1 from 6 pm - 8 pm, we will have a listening session for Queer and Trans people under 35 years old at a central meeting location near downtown Berkeley. You must have lived experience as a: 1) peer in the mental health community OR 2) Queer or Trans person under 35 years old. You must have related lived experience with policing in the City of Berkeley. $50 gift cards will be provided for participation.
