We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Coordinator to work with our East Bay, Alameda Office. Compensation is $20-25/HR depending on experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage multiple independent contractor maintenance vendors to efficiently maximize completion of tenant generated work order requests, unit turns, renovations, preventive maintenance, and other projects as necessary. - Manage maintenance support staff to aid in completion of maintenance department responsibilities Complete former tenant security deposit refunds in adherence to state and local law. - Keep apartments and buildings well-maintained, and tenants happy, through regular on-site inspections and building upgrades. - Reviews photos of vacant apartments when completed by maintenance personnel or vendors to ensure they are clean and ready to show. - Keep cleat communication with owners, tenants, and vendors. - Communicates all problems and resolves them or make recommendations to Management for resolution. QUALIFICATIONS: - Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel) - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with the site staff and internal partners, external vendors, and groups of residents. - Ability to take direction to complete assigned tasks independently, and ability to meet deadlines using demonstrated time management skills. - Previous Property Management experience. - Appfolio knowledge is a plus!
