Welcome back to the U-M Museum of Natural History! The mastodons, dinosaurs, and staff look forward to welcoming visitors on Fridays and Sundays from Noon to 4:00 p.m beginning Friday, June 25! To ensure that everyone enjoys their visit and stays safe, we’ll be starting with limited hours and reduced capacity and will gradually expand our hours and occupancy. Admission for individuals and families is free, but timed reservations are required. Click the red "Select A Date" button above to reserve your spot. Museum occupancy is reduced and safety protocols have been instituted in accordance with University of Michigan requirements. Some activities and exhibit areas, including the planetarium, are closed at this time. Important information for planning your visit: Registration is required by clicking the red "Select A Date" button above.Enter through the museum's main entrance—between the pumas—on the south side at the east end of the building.Complete the U-M health screening on the day of your visit. Have the "completed" screen (or screenshot) ready to show. GuestResponsiBlueUniversity of Michigan Community ResponsiBlueFace coverings are required for unvaccinated visitors aged two and older. Face coverings are not required for visitors who are fully vaccinated and have self-reported their vaccination status through ResponsiBLUE-Guest or U-M community members who have self-reported that they are fully vaccinated through the U-M system. An individual is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine.Please do not come to the museum if you or any members of your party feels unwell. Parking and Directions The University of Michigan Museum of Natural History inspires curiosity with exhibits that explore the natural world from molecules to dinosaurs, a planetarium to discover the Universe, public labs to do actual science, and opportunities to meet real scientists. The museum is free for families and individuals.
