Admission to Kelsey Museum of Archaeology. University of Michigan audiences only-UMID required We are pleased to welcome our University Community audiences back to the Kelsey Museum. We hope to open to all of our audiences in the near future, but at this point in time, the University is working to maintain low density on the UM campus. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we operate the Museum to ensure a safe environment for our visitors and staff. All visitor hours must be scheduled in advance through Eventbrite ticketing. Your Museum visit will be limited to 45 minutes per visitor and capacity is reduced to ensure safe social distancing. Galleries will be closed for an hour midday to allow for additional cleaning. Hours available for scheduling Tuesday – Friday (9 – 11 am and 12 – 4 pm). Saturday and Sunday (1-4 pm). Closed on Mondays. Arriving at the Museum: Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your visit start time. You will wait outside of the entrance until security provides access for your visit. Entry and Exit available only through Maynard Street entrance. The day of your visit all visitors must complete the UM health attestation and screening , and present the "completed" screen (you may take a screenshot for verification) to security upon arrival. https://responsiblue.umich.edu/sign-in Visitors should cancel their visit if they are having any symptoms of illness and visitors showing signs of illness at the time of their visit will be asked to return at a later date. Visitors must present their UMID card, health screen attestation, and ticket to security upon arrival. Each visitor must have their own UMID card. During your visit: Masks are not required for visitors who are fully vaccinated and have self-reported/verified their vaccination status via the ResponsiBlue application. An individual is considered fully vaccinated following at least two weeks since their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine. Please continue to wear a face covering while indoors and physical distance if you are not yet fully vaccinated. Reminders for social distancing will be visible throughout the galleries and outside the entrance of the Museum (Maynard Street). High touch services will be cleaned throughout the day and sanitizer stations will be available. Please do not touch cases, or any of the pedestals or artifacts. A risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. In the interest of your personal safety and community health, please observe all of the precautions listed above.
