Woman Shot in Columbia Parking Garage: Police

COLUMBIA, MD — Howard County police officers are investigating a fatal shooting that unfolded Wednesday shortly before 9:30 p.m. Police responded to a call about an unconscious woman in a vehicle located in the parking garage in the 10200 block of Wincopin Circle. Police determined that the victim, Victoria Ann Santiago, 47, of Windsor Mill, had been shot wound and then was taken to Howard County General Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police do not believe the shooting was random. The motive is under investigation and there is no suspect information available for release.
