PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Patch recently partnered with the SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George's County. Each week, we will bring you the cutest pets looking for homes. Here are this week's adorable adoptables. Click on their names for more information. Taz Are you ready for some action? Taz certainly is! He loves to go on walks, explore the yard, and romp with friends. He is eager to please, and really enjoys getting treats for learning new commands. He's still working on impulse control and walking nicely on a leash. Like most cattle dogs, he needs plenty of daily exercise, both physical and mental, to work off his extra energy. Taz still acts like a puppy sometimes, zooming around the house, and then plopping down for a nap. He likes to cuddle, but is perfectly happy curled up on his bed while you watch TV or work on the computer nearby. His favorite toys are tugs and bones. He likes to pounce on balls, so learning to fetch is high on his agenda. He's a sweet, soft boy who will make his new family very happy. (Story continues below video) Virtual Adoption Show The SPCA will also host a virtual adoption show this Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. Interested families can drop onto the call and see what cuties need a home. Click this link to register for the event. The local SPCA is a volunteer-run organization that does not operate a physical shelter. Volunteers house the animals in their own homes until they are adopted. Every pet up for adoption is listed here. To start the adoption process, fill out this form.
