LA GRANGE, IL — A Brookfield woman struck an unoccupied La Grange police car last week near 48th Street and La Grange Road, police said. She was stopped a short distance away at 47th Street and Arthur Avenue. Laura Sroka, 47, was arrested about 10 p.m. June 17 on charges of DUI, failure to change lanes for emergency vehicles, leaving the scene of an accident, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and damage to village property.
