We are seeking Material Handlers on 2nd and 3rd Shift for our Romeoville warehouse operation. The starting hourly rate for this position is $19.00/hr - $22.00/hr (based on skills, abilities, and experience). There is also a sign-on bonus offered with this opportunity. JOB DUTIES Operate forklift, side loading forklift, and overhead crane to move material in the warehouse. Load and unload trucks using handling equipment, places materials in storage locations. May operate saws, or other equipment to process, package, and load. May receive/inspect and verify the material count. JOB REQUIREMENTS This position requires 1-2 years of related experience and strong math skills. Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, side loaders, saws, banding, and/or order packing is highly preferred, but not required. Experience in the steel distribution industry is a definite plus.
