Kintigh’s Mountain Home Ranch is a 4th generation tree farm founded in 1957. As winners of Both the National Christmas Tree and National Forestry awards we have always grown the highest quality Christmas trees, Seedlings and Timber. We are currently hiring more crewmen. This position entails trimming Christmas trees, harvesting Christmas trees, planting and packaging conifer seedlings, and many other small jobs. As Oregon weather demands we work outside rain or shine, but we also spend time working in the barn and greenhouses in the winter. Our main ranch is a few miles east of Springfield, but we also have sites at other locations near Vida, Cottage Grove, and Camp Creek. Generally we will take the company vehicles to these locations. The physical nature of the job varies greatly season to season, from moderate to very physical. We do a lot of lifting and carrying, walking and standing. This is a job for someone who enjoys being outside and active, with seasonal variety. There are promotion opportunities, as well as annual raises.
