The Fabric Prep and Shipping Technician works with the Sunbrella Design Team at our beautiful corporate Sunbrella Headquarters in Burlington, NC.  The position is a temporary position based on need.  In this position, you will be responsible for all sample cutting, receiving and preparing materials for shipping and outbound shipments.  Very competitive compensation.  Great work environment in a corporate setting.   Receive inbound shipments/ rolls and cut and label fabric samples Coordinate and consult with GR associates involved in fabric sample cutting Assist with maintenance of equipment and supplies for Fabric Prep Prepare outbound mailings and use UPS/FedEx systems to ship mailings (Assisting with International Shipping Documents, as needed) Education High school level diploma or equivalent Experience 2 – 3 years of work experience and familiarity with receiving and shipping. Key Skills Knowledge of Excel and ability to learn the Design system to print fabric labels Complete duties with accuracy in an organized manner with thorough attention to details Team player, friendly, able to take direction and follow specific directions
