MICA Corporation is a highway specialty contractor that installs lights, road signs, and intelligent tracking systems in Texas. We are Looking for a Heavy Equipment Mobile Mechanic to provide support by diagnosing, repairing of light and heavy construction equipment that includes experience on hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and diesel engines. This Mechanic will travel to South Texas when needed to complete repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections and will maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records. It will make recommendations to Fleet Manager for more detailed work and perform other related duties as assigned. It is required to have: • A valid Texas Driver License (with a maximum of 2 infractions within the past 3 years). • Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience. • Ability to work overtime, weekends and nights as needed • Able to pass a physical examination and drug and alcohol screenings • High school diploma or GED.
