Description
Recreational Electrical LLC is an emergency vehicle up-fitter located in Loveland, Colorado.
We are looking for mechanically inclined individuals to help assemble Police, Fire, and EMS vehicles. We take a standard "off the lot" vehicle and convert it into a specialty vehicle to be used by First Responders.
You will take pre-manufactured wiring harnesses, metal brackets, prisoner cage systems, warning lights, siren systems, bumpers, and other equipment and install them into the vehicles.
What you must have:
• Pride in your work! We want these vehicles perfect for the individuals using them.
• Positive attitude and a team driven spirit
• Attention to detail.
• Ability and desire to learn.
• Mechanically inclined - we take a lot of stuff apart that must go back together!
• Working knowledge of hand tools
• Experience with drills, drivers, pneumatic tools, and other battery-operated tools
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Minimum of a GED
Desired, but not required:
• Working knowledge of vehicle body panels, and removal of body trim pieces.
• 12-volt electrical systems
• Previous experience in the field.
Other things to know:
• Hours are 6am- 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday (4 10-hour shifts)
• There is a lot of bending and twisting and working in some weird positions while doing these installs.
• There may be some heavy lifting.
• There may be some working on ladders.
• There is room to grow and learn new skills!
• We have other in-house departments, including electrical harness assembly, metal fabrication, and graphics!
Pay:
Pay ranges by experience from $16hr - $21hr.
