Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee construction of marinas by installing floating docks in the water at the job site per blueprint specifications and per direction of Construction Manager; - Operates equipment and machinery in a knowledgeable, safe, and effective manner; - Follows and applies safety rules and techniques; - Reports any problems with construction duties to supervisor; - May operate forklift to transport floats; places and aligns floats into correct order and position, following blueprint specifications; - Uses hardware, such as bolts, washers, rods, lumber, and uses necessary hand tools; - Positions and fastens all required hardware and materials onto floats using wrenches, rubber mallets, and others appropriate tools, ensuring floats are assembled correctly; and - Performs other duties as assigned. - Responsible for coordinating crew members and subcontractors during onsite construction. - Necessary PPE required: Hard Hat, USCG approved life jacket & work boots. - Ability to apply and be eligible for a passport - Able to work on a Government base / job site.
