Description
I am helping a family rehome their cat.
This is Rosie.
She is:
*Spayed
*UTD on shots
*Microchipped
*Parasite treated monthly
*4 Years Old
*Weighs 22lbs
Rosie is overweight and I’ve started her on a diet. She was free eating prior a high carb cat food.
Other than being a loaf of bread she has no health issues and is active.
Rosie does well with other cats and tolerates most other animals that I know of. She’s more of a people cat. She doesn’t mind being held but due to her size it seems like its uncomfortable for her. In time this should get better.
She is a sweetie and quiet. She hides in new situations and is sensitive but warms up to familiar faces and voices. She doesn't mind a stranger holding her or giving love. She just won't come to you first. Shes fine with kids of all ages that respect her space and sometimes she just wants to chill. Loud noises can be scary for her. She will leave the room.
When she’s comfortable and her authentic self, she’s loving, affectionate, playful, spunky and silly. She loves a scratching post and a rug she can stretch on. She does not claw furniture.
She has excellent litter box habits. Due to her size, she needs a high-sided box because she can’t squat down right now.
Until she is adopted I will be working with her building confidence and working on her weight.
An appropriate rehoming fee applies to
ensure she goes to a home that can meet her needs.
