We are looking for Cleaners to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. This includes cleaning of mobile units such as rail cars, trains and other heavy equipment in a highly restricted public access area. The goal is to keep our transportation and building facilities clean and in orderly condition. Responsibilities • Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc) • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities • Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects to include transportation equipment such as train and/or rail cars • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs • Make adjustments and minor repairs to equipment as needed • Stock and maintain supply rooms • Cooperate with the rest of the staff • Follow all health and safety regulations as required under the law Requirements • Proven working experience as a cleaner, janitor and/or technician • Ability to handle equipment and machinery • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies • Knowledge of carpet cleaning in either a commercial or residential setting • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets • Integrity • Able to pass extensive (FAA) background check and drug screen • High School Diploma preferred Job Type: Full-time Salary: $13.00 /hour 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions available.
