Sweet 9 y/o Pointer mix needs a new home

This is a previous foster of ours, Doodle. He can no longer live with our friends who adopted him. He is a pointer/pittie mix around nine years old and he is the SWEETEST boy. He does well with other dogs, esPECially small playful ones. And can live with kids that are old enough to know how to respect a dog (no poking, pulling ears, hitting, etc.) He previously lived with a 7-year-old child with Autism and thrived. He is a sensitive soul who was clearly not treated well before we fostered him. He has some fear of men but this was easily curbed by giving all newcomers treats to give him as they entered and explaining to people that they should wait for him to approach. We would take him back in a heartbeat but we already have three dogs and a small yard. He is currently in Dallas but I am willing to drive him anywhere in Texas. This is very time sensitive.
