MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Assist in shop duties and responsibilities as assigned · Material order pulling and preparation · Shipping and receiving · Building/shop/yard organization and maintenance · Tools, trucks, equipment repair and maintenance · Retail and commercial sales support and deliveries · Customer service and small repairs SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · Ability to perform in a fast paced drug-free environment with high level of accuracy · Enjoys outdoor, physical work · Mechanically inclined ability to operate shop tools, forklift and bobcat · Problem solving with high attention to detail and good communication skills · Successfully perform basic math problems accurately · Time management and planning skills, the ability to multitask with strong emphasis on prioritization · Exceptionally organized individual who insists on a neat and clean work area. EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: · Minimum one year fence or related field experience; valid driver's license required with reliable transportation COMPENSATION: Position is designed to start for an entry to mid level shop/field position for qualified individual able to meet job description requirements.
