Seeking wind players, doublers for new performing arts project

I am seeking between 4 and 6 wind (woodwind and/or brass and/or vocal) performers to start a new kind of band. I am hoping to draw on talent from multiple cities of the region to celebrate and amplify the new holiday 757 Day celebrating Hampton Roads. Ideal participants will have good ears, good spatial sense (marching band or dance experience a plus) and be open to learning a new musical instrument (udderbot!). Music notation literacy preferred but not required. I am an experienced arranger and composer, hoping to form a group for which to arrange and compose. Please reply with your city, primary instrument(s), and 2-5 of your favorite musical artists to get the conversation started. We will hold auditions (online or physically distanced) through the end of June, or until a band is formed. Performance engagement(s) in July still in formation and subject to the input of participants; may be as simple as a beach busking meetup or as elaborate as a circus.
