Rolling Out Health IQ, Be The Match and Howard University have partnered to host Swab a Cheek, Save a Life, a community call to action event
Rolling Out Health IQ, Be The Match®, and Howard University have partnered to host Swab a Cheek, Save a Life, a community call to action event encouraging those in and around DC to join the Be The Match® Registry for blood stem cells donations.
Taking place at the Howard University Hospital Auditorium, the registry drive event is in support of Elise, the owner of Winnie's Bakery in Columbia, MD, and a cancer survivor. She is now battling Myelodysplastic Syndrome and is in immediate need of a blood stem cell transplant. Elise has yet to find a match, and she's calling on her community to join the registry so that she and so many others, particularly Black patients, can find a match.
Join us and become a living life-saver on Monday, June 28, 2021, 4 pm - 8 pm, at the Howard University Hospital Auditorium, 2401 Georgia Ave, NW, Washington, DC 20060.
