To foster community awareness and support of “The Covenant of Peace” and other anti-violence initiatives prioritizing S.E. DC.
In the last 365 days alone, Washington, D.C. has seen a 14% increase in homicides, with six of the 86 victims being juveniles. This heartbreaking trend affirms that the work we began over 20 years ago remains both critical and urgent. Toward that goal, the East of the River Clergy Police Community Partnership is partnering with the ACC - Public Safety Consortium to challenge our partners East of the River to recommit to our mission to expose and expel the root causes of such violence from our community.
This Saturday, June 26th at 10 a.m., we invite you to meet and mingle with advocates from the faith, law enforcement, and community services spaces. We hope you will join us for a community discussion outlining our vision and goals for Summer 2021 and beyond.
Breakfast will be provided, so please RSVP and let us know if you plan to attend by Thursday, June 24th.
Thank you for your continued work to reclaim our community — one child and one family at a time.
In service,
East of the River Clergy Police Community Partnership
