Come join our team and be a part of the premier sign company in South Florida. We have an open position at this time for a Painter Assistant. This is a key position in our production team that provides support needed for the timely completion of projects. Previous painting experience is preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: • Prepares surfaces for paint material needed based on project specifications and needs or as requested by Lead Painter or Production Team Supervisor • Assists in painting signage material and sections as required and utilizing the proper machines and tools as directed by Lead Painter or Production Team Supervisor • Apply finishes and final coats of material as needed based on project specifications or as requested by Lead Painter or Production Team Supervisor • Maintains project completion timelines REQUIREMENTS: • The ability to read shop drawings with specifications and also follow verbal and written instruction • Previous painting experience and knowledge of machinery used predominantly in sign industry is not mandatory but a plus • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills • Proven ability to anticipate problems, analyze and proactively determine alternate solutions • Must be accurate, organized, and detail-oriented. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Job Type: Full-time Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Must bring proof of negative for COVID-19, wear a mask and keep safe distance
