'New Chordtet' featuring Peter McEachern, Dave Santoro, Tom Melito, Joe Magnarelli & Larry Ham at the Torrington Historical Society. 'New Chordtet' featuring Peter McEachern (trombone), Dave Santoro (bass), Joe Magnarelli (trumpet), Tom Melito (drums) and Larry Ham (piano) will be performing in an outdoor concert at the Torrington Historical Society on July 17th at 6:30 pm. RAIN DATE: Sunday, July 18th. Bring your own lawn chair, blanket and refreshments. 'New Chordtet': The group has found fertile ground in jazz classics by important and under-appreciated composers such as Sonny Clark, Herbie Nichols, Curtis Fuller, Carla Bley, and Roswell Rudd, as well as originals by members of the group.
