With musical influences ranging from folk to swing to bluegrass to country they are a true Americana band. This five piece New Acoustic Alternative Bluegrass quartet offers a change from the sounds traditionally associated with Banjo, Bass, Guitar, Fiddle, and Mandolin. Their tight vocal harmonies and instrumental arrangements leave audiences clamoring for more at every show. Quickdraw is : Kent Taylor (Mandolin/Vocals) J. Randall Jones (Bass/Vocals) Tyler Allen (Banjo/Vocals) W. Sam Barnhill (Guitar/Vocals). Kellie McGee (Fiddle/Vocals) Bill Donaldson of Pow'r Pickin' magazine writes. "...... one decides that Quickdraw Homegrown Music isn't stretching the envelope, they wadded it up and tossed it out completely. So it's best to forget about labels and just enjoy the good music played well in the Bluegrass style". This sure fire crowd pleaser has performed at festivals and events across this great nation and promises to be a delightful and entertaining musical experience for audiences of all ages. To quote a line from one of the bands many original songs, "...kick up your heels and see how it feels. Gonna be a good time"
