Volunteer event. Come help ULL get their Career Closet Ready for the Fall Semester! Join the705 Philanthropy Committee as we partner with the UL Office of Career Services to get their Career Closet ready for the fall semester. The community closet provides professional clothing to students and recent alumni for interviews and other professional needs. On Saturday, July 10, we will have a volunteer event where the705 members will help sort and hang donated items. The goal is to go through the current unprocessed donations (around 20 bags). Additionally: The center is not currently advertising for donations BUT still have a need for male professional clothes. Of particulars need are smaller sizes for males. Currently the office has no suit jackets under size 40. The705 uses resources, collaboration, and a shared responsibility to develop young professionals into future community leaders. We care about developing our members personally, professionally and civically.
