JoAnna Kai Hackney will be performing a variety of music live inside the Mitchell Opera House! JoAnna Kai Hackney will once again be performing live inside the Mitchell Opera House! Please join us Friday, July 30th at 7:00 p.m. for a concert featuring a variety of music. JoAnna Kai Hackney is the former school counselor at Bedford Middle School, and currently works as an academic advisor for Indiana University. JoAnna is a former member of the highly acclaimed oldies band Forever Gold. Musically, JoAnna entertains audiences across the Midwest with her tongue-twisted country singing, smooth melodies, and cheerful personality. She also performs the National Anthem at several regional events, including Indianapolis Indians and Pacers games. With her husband Ed, JoAnna organized four Croonin’ for Crohn’s concerts, raising over $15,000 for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. In her spare time, JoAnna is a marathoner who enjoys distance running (especially in the woods), quilting, geocaching, learning new things, and spending time with friends and family, especially Ed and puppy MaeBe.
