Looking for bandmates for rock/jam band

Description
Hi everyone! My name's Craig - I'm a multi-instrumentalist (sax/guitar/flute) and songwriter living in SE Portland. I'm starting a rock band that's going to focus on danceable music with positive lyrics, lots of variety and lots of jamming. The songs I write are mostly classic rock, jam band, funk, and reggae, but I like to mix in elements of jazz, folk rock, Latin rock, pop and hip hop. My personal influences (to name only a few) include Bob Marley, James Brown, Grateful Dead, String Cheese Incident, Allman Brothers, and Tom Petty. We'll probably do about a 50/50 mix of originals and covers. There are 3 of us currently: myself, a drummer and a guitar player. We are looking for bass, keys, lead vocals, and a percussion/horn player. It's going to be a big band that will be able to do 3 or 4 part vocal harmonies, dual guitar leads, and live horn parts. We're looking for folks who are versatile, creative, and have a positive attitude. We especially want to have a band where folks can have fun and enjoy each other's company. I'm taking the lead on this project, but it's going to be a collaborative working environment - including song arrangement and the choice of cover songs. This is going to be a serious, working band, so please be prepared to practice at least one evening per week and work on the material between practices. Once we get going, I want to be gigging at least once a month and work into playing venues like the Crystal Ballroom. Also, while I'm not expecting everyone to be clean and sober, folks who are heavy drinkers or heavy drug users are not going to be a good fit. If you're interested in this project, please send me a link (or links) to some audio/video of your playing/singing. Here's a link to my Soundcloud page if you want to check out demos of some of my original songs: https://soundcloud.com/user-877146260 When you're listening to the demos, please keep in mind that I'm not going to be singing lead on most of the songs once we find a lead singer. Thanks! Craig
