Warriors, Soldiers, and Spouses: This career fair is just for you!! Are you returning from deployment and seeking employment? Are you looking for a new job? Are you transitioning from service into civilian employment? Are you a spouse seeking new employment? Maybe you're just exploring your options. Come meet 40+ employers from several industries including agriculture, law enforcement, retail, IT, fire safety, financial services, health care, and many more to find the career you have been looking for! Tips for Attending the Career Fair 1) Have a brief elevator speech prepared when introducing yourself to potential employers. Have this prepared and saved beforehand so you can simply cut and paste it into the chat. You may only get 1-2 minutes with the recruiters so make it count! 2) Have your resume ready to provide to potential employers during the event. 3) Follow up after the event with employers you're interested in working for. You may still need to apply through their company website and you want the recruiter aware of the positions for which you applied. 4) Be positive, be engaging and show these employers what you as a Service Member or Service Member's Spouse can do for their business Note: 4:00 PM-5:00 PM will be focused on Warriors and 5:00 PM-6:00 PM will be focused on Soldiers and Spouses.
